Opera 49: A browser with VR player and screenshot editor

The new version of the Internet browser supports 360-degree video and editing of recorded smartphones.

The 49th version of the Internet browser, which is now available for Linux, Windows and macOS, is based on Chromium 62 and, in addition to the obligatory detail improvements, also includes several new functions.

Thus, screenshots taken directly in the browser can now also be edited and provided with emojis or comments. It now supports 360-degree video for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and other OpenVR-compatible devices.

With the “Easy Setup” the browser also wants to offer less experienced users an aid: On the first start, some basic settings and functions such as the download folder or Adblock settings can be adjusted.

The new version can be downloaded as usual for free.
