The Fitlat2 from Compulab offers, among other things, a slim profile for IoT projects thanks to its small dimensions and passive coolers
The Fitlet2 varies in size depending on the case used, but with a maximum of 11.2 x 11.2 x 2.5 or 11.2 x 8.4 x 3.4 cm is still considered compact. The ventilation is purely passive, so there is no fan to make noise.
As processors, three different Intel SoCs are used, as well as the Celeron J3455 and the Intel Atom x7-E3950 or x5-E3930. The two- or four-core are supported by a maximum of 16 GB of RAM, as mass storage is an M.2 SSD or a 2.5-inch hard disk or an eMMC module. The output to a display via miniDP 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 is also possible in 4K resolution, in the former case even with 60 hertz.
Both USB and Ethernet are pre-installed, and expansion cards can be used to retrofit a wireless network connection. The PC system, which is also compatible with Windows 10 IoT, is now available for $ 153, but information on launching on a market is not yet available.
