iPhone 8: Apple invites you to the new Steve Jobs Theater on September 12th

Now it is official! On September 12, Apple will present the world’s new iPhone generation, which this year will consist of three models for the first time. The location of the event is also new: the Steve Jobs Theater in the heart of the new Apple “space ship” park, is dedicated to the iPhone anniversary with a launch event.

Everything fits as planned and predicted by the augurs: in time for the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, the Steve Jobs Theater at the new Apple Park, which is also called the “Spaceship” by many, will take place at the September launch event on September 12th at 10.00 Local time (with us 19.00) officially inaugurated. Just a few days ago, Drone (see below) circled over the new site and showed the last construction work around the new event location named after the late Apple founder Steve Jobs.

On September 12th, we are expecting the direct succession models of the previous generation: iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, as well as the multi-leased anniversary iPhone, whose preliminary name “iPhone 8” has not yet been confirmed. Both are probably refreshed with glass back, wireless charging and new A11 chip, but otherwise remain the same as the old iPhone concept of the past years. Completely new, however, is the aforementioned iPhone 8, which is probably due to the 10th anniversary with full-area OLED display and 3D face recognition to symbolize the future of the iPhone series.

Although the iPhone 8 will surely be the star of the show, Apple plans also the launch of the third Apple Watch smartphone series; this year it finally gets an LTE chip for more independence from iPhone. Also, the 4K and HDR-capable Apple TV in the fifth generation will delight Apple fans. Last but not least, the final versions of iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, watchOS 4 and tvOS 11 will be presented, so overall a full program in which Apple CEO Tim Cook will probably also remember the legendary Steve Jobs.
